Celebrating Commitment Sunday
Last Sunday was Commitment Sunday, the fruit of significant prayer and discernment about how the Lord is leading all of us to give toward our future home. We’ve said throughout this process that raising all of the funds will take a miracle. And while we're praying for that miracle, we've already seen incredible things happening in the lives of so many people as they've taken faithful steps of generosity to give to this project.
Still working on your pledge?
If you weren’t able to turn in your pledge card this past Sunday, it is not too late. Baskets for pledge cards will be near the entrances once again this Sunday, or you can submit your pledge online if you prefer.
Know someone who would like to hear more?
As Joel mentioned, we've had a number of people ask whether friends or family outside of Redeemer can give toward this effort, and the answer is yes! If you want to let us know how to contact them, you can do so here. Additionally, we’ve put together a page on our site that goes over the basics of the project if you’d like to send it on.
When will we hear more?
Our team is already hard at work tallying the hundreds of pledges that we’ve received. It takes an enormous effort to triple-check our numbers and track down any missing information, so we plan to share the total amount pledged in mid-May.
Thank you for the ways you have already participated in this season. We are expectant to see how the Lord will continue to provide in the days ahead.
